Equality and Accessibility at Otterburn Primary School and Nursery
At Otterburn Primary School and Nursery, we are committed to providing an inclusive and accessible learning environment where all children are valued, supported and able to thrive. We aim to promote equality, challenge discrimination and ensure that no child is disadvantaged due to a disability or protected characteristic.
This section of our website shares two key documents that underpin our commitment:
Equality Objectives 2025–2029
Our Equality Objectives set out how we will continue to eliminate discrimination, advance equality of opportunity and foster good relations across our school community. These objectives help guide our everyday practices, curriculum and policies to ensure every child feels safe, included and respected.
Accessibility Plan 2025–2028
Our Accessibility Plan outlines the practical steps we are taking to improve access to the curriculum, physical environment and written information for pupils with disabilities. The plan is designed to remove barriers to learning and participation, ensuring all children - regardless of need - can access a full and enriching school experience.
Both documents are reviewed regularly by the Governing Body and are available in alternative formats on request. To read more, please click the links below to view or download the full documents.
